Alchemy Creative Arts Therapy is looking for a Creative Arts Therapist to join the team immediately (any modality OK, practice owner is an Art Therapist.)

Job Title: Creative Arts Therapist 
Location: Remote (New York Based Practice) *bonus if you are near Jersey City or can easily access, the other team members frequently meet up in the area but we can also arrange for in person meet ups in NYC* 
Rate: $70-85/hr (based off of experience) + admin pay 
Position Type: 1099 Contractor (W2 if limited permit) 
Hours: Minimum of 15 clients per week with desire to grow caseload preferred

About Alchemy Creative Arts Therapy:

Alchemy Creative Arts Therapy helps adults and teens by using a holistic approach to therapy that goes beyond talking alone. We utilize art therapy, EMDR therapy, parts/inner child work, and somatic practices like nervous system regulation to empower clients to heal at the root of their issues and create lasting positive change. Specializations include anxiety, trauma, grief and depression.
Alchemy Creative Arts Therapy is out of network and provides OON billing services should clients have benefits.

Job Description:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* A New York state LCAT license is required in order to apply. Limited Permits are also welcome if they have begun the licensure process and can add on a supervisor. (W2 position in the case of limited permits) 

* Seeking a like minded therapist who can provide holistic, creative, body-based and alternative approaches to individuals ranging from teens to adults.

* Confidence and experience in providing 1:1 telehealth sessions with teens and/or adults.

* Once fully ramped up, the expected case load is 15 client sessions per week and you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule. Must be open/willing to grow caseload over time. Building out a full private pay caseload can take anywhere from 6 months- 9 months. Can grow caseload beyond 15 if desired.

* Fully remote role and will conduct therapy sessions via Simple Practice (or Zoom)

* Can work efficiently independently

* Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills

* Experience with SimplePractice or similar EHR system is a plus

* Complete treatment plans, progress notes and all chart documentation within specified time frames

*Conduct consultation calls with prospective clients to see if it is a match for treatment

* Evening availability may be beneficial in order to grow caseload but not required 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

* NY State LCAT license - Limited Permit accepted as well if licensure process is already underway

* ATR & Board Certification or board certification from Music, Dance or Drama therapy associations.

* Master’s Degree in Creative Arts Therapy or similar degree required

Additional Information & Benefits:

* Practice Owner can provide weekly one on ones to provide feedback and supervision

* Practice Owner can provide training on how to build your caseload by leveraging social media if desired 

* Practice handles all out of network billing and administration so you can focus on clinical work (aside from Ivy Pay charges for client sessions which you will be responsible for). 

* Option to pursue EMDR basic training after set time plus other professional development opportunities

*Opportunities for creative growth within the practice ie. offering groups, workshops, trainings etc. 

We have a very cozy little practice where we have a lot of independence but can also come together for connection, professional growth and other creative pursuits!
